This is perhaps the finest of the Tyrolean Valleys for the walker.
The valley itself is a little more open, the mountains a little lower,
less "mountainous" and greener, with a thriving dairy farm community
and a traditional way of life that lives on in the attractive villages.
While there are a few cable cars, this valley is not scarred by ski
developments as are some others. |
